On Sunday evening the fellowship building of Enoree Baptist Church was filled with lots of lots of faces. They were faces from Enoree…but also from Locust Hill Baptist Church (and several other guests). It was a service that has been in the works for several weeks and both churches had a great turnout for the event. Out of a desire to see our churches gather more often, this was sort of a first event to help us begin joining together for times of worship and celebration. The response of both groups lets us know that this was a welcome event!

The Enoree Baptist Church Ensemble began the service with several patriotic songs and songs of worship. Locust Hill then invited several soloists to come and they shared with us several great songs! And then I was up for a message on the Liberty we have in Christ!

I really appreciate the staff of Locust Hill partnering with us to make this event happen (Bill, James, Russ). We’re looking forward to another event in the near future.
